Ingredients
- 2 lbs bone-in short ribs
- 6 tbsp Spare Ribs Rub & Seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 tsp Classic Pasta Seasoning
- 12 oz pappardelle
- Fresh parsley & Parmesan (for garnish)
Instructions
- Sear Ribs: Season ribs with Spare Ribs Rub & Seasoning. Sear in hot olive oil until browned. Set aside.
- Cook Veggies: In the same pot, sauté onion, carrots, celery, and garlic until soft.
- Simmer Sauce: Add wine, reduce, then stir in tomatoes, beef broth, and Classic Pasta Seasoning. Return ribs to pot, cover, and simmer for 2.5 hours.
- Shred Meat: Remove ribs, shred meat, discard bones, and return meat to sauce.
- Cook Pasta & Serve: Toss cooked pappardelle in ragu, garnish with parsley and Parmesan. Enjoy!
