Ingredients

  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tsp Mango Habanero Seasoning
  • 2 tsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Smokey Bacon Seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro or green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook Bacon:
    In a large pot, cook diced bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving drippings in the pot.
  • Sauté Aromatics:
    In the same pot, add chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  • Simmer with Broth:
    Pour in chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a gentle boil. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes to blend flavors.
  • Add Creamy Ingredients:
    Stir in the cream cheese until fully melted. Add shredded cheddar cheese and milk, stirring until smooth and creamy.
  • Season & Finish:
    Add Mango Habanero, Lemon Pepper, and Smokey Bacon Seasoning. Adjust with salt and pepper to taste. Stir in the crispy bacon bits

     

    Serving Suggestions
    Serve in bowls topped with extra bacon bits, a sprinkle of cheddar, and fresh cilantro or green onions. Pair with warm crusty bread.
