Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb Italian sausage, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 3 tsp Pasta Seasoning
- 3 Sausage & Burger Seasoning
- 3 tsp Zesty Italian Seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Cook Pasta:
Boil penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. -
Cook Sausage:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced sausage seasoned with Sausage & Burger Seasoning and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove sausage and set aside. -
Sauté Aromatics:
In the same skillet, add diced onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes. -
Add Tomatoes and Seasoning:
Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, Pasta Seasoning, and Zesty Italian Seasoning. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens, then adjust salt and pepper to taste. -
Combine Pasta and Sausage:
Add the cooked sausage and pasta to the skillet, stirring to coat everything in the flavorful sauce.
Serve:
Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve hot. Enjoy this zesty, comforting Italian-inspired pasta dish!
