Ingredients

For the Fritters:

  • 2 tbsp salted butter, melted
  • ⅓ cup dark brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup milk (whole milk preferred)
  • ½ cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp Pumpkin Spice Seasoning (generously replacing individual spices)
  • 1 liter oil for frying (sunflower oil works well)

For the Glaze:

  • ½ cup granulated white sugar
  • ¼ cup salted butter
  • ¼ cup milk
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Prepare the Fritters:
In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, milk, and pumpkin puree until smooth.
In a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and 2 tbsp Pumpkin Spice Seasoning.

2. Heat the Oil:
Heat oil in a deep saucepan over medium heat until it reaches 350°F to 365°F.

3. Combine the Batter:
Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
